Neurofeedback is physical therapy for the brain. We can train the brain to become more efficient in its actions and thereby decrease many symptoms of brain dysfunction such as depression, anxiety, poor attention, processing of information, memory, headaches and even seizure disorders.
The reason neurofeedback works is because neurons that fire together wire together. Our brains are constantly changing and adapting to become a better brain for us to use the next day. When we change our minds, this is a physical event of our neurons making new connections. Neurofeedback helps your brain make new connections that enable better function.
